Dorrigo National Park 

Step into the lush world of World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest. Dorrigo National Park offers stunning waterfall walks, picnic spots, and birdwatching opportunities in a truly serene setting. With its cool rainforest and panoramic lookouts, this is a must for nature lovers.

Skywalk Lookout – Rainforest Visitor Centre - Dorrigo National Park 

Dangar Falls 

A not-to-be-missed waterfall experience only 2km drive, cycle or walk from Dorrigo town. You'll be met with a spectacular 30-metre waterfall with an accessible viewing platform that provides an excellent photo opportunity. Take a short walk to the base of the falls where you will get to see the waterfall up close.

Dangar Falls - Dorrigo

Bellinger River 

Right in the heart of Bellingen, you’ll find Lavender’s Bridge Park and The Point, both offering easy access to the Bellinger River. These beloved swim spots are perfect for picnicking, kayaking, and taking a leisurely swim—all set against the lush riverside landscape.

Mylestom Foreshore and Tidal Pool 

For both beach and river access, head to Mylestom, where a tidal pool and nearby café make it a laid-back spot to unwind. With river views and the beach up the road, it’s a great spot for a relaxed day by the water.   

The North Beach General Store and cafe is open every day. They serve great coffee, cakes and their famous fish and chips wrapped in paper, the old school way.

Mylestom Foreshore

Urunga Lido 

A local favourite in Urunga, the Lido is an idyllic, family-friendly swimming area with shallow waters and great facilities, including picnic tables and playgrounds. Stroll the iconic Urunga Boardwalk for spectacular views of the estuary and coastline—a hidden gem that captures the natural charm of our coast.
