Bellinger River - Lavenders Bridge

Right in the heart of Bellingen, you’ll find Lavender’s Bridge Park and The Point, both offering easy access to the Bellinger River. These beloved swim spots are perfect for picnicking, kayaking, and taking a leisurely swim—all set against the lush riverside landscape.

For both beach and river access, head to Mylestom, where a tidal pool and nearby café make it a laid-back spot to unwind. With river views and the beach up the road, it’s a great spot for a relaxed day by the water.  

The North Beach General Store and cafe is open 7:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday & 7.30am – 3.30pm Saturday – Sunday. They serve great coffee, cakes and wraps.
