Get ready to go bug hunting! Macro Muster is a hands-on citizen science event where you'll discover the amazing world of freshwater waterbugs and what they can tell us about the health of their rivers and creeks.

Help collect, sort and identify aquatic creatures, from tiny mayfly nymphs and dragonflies to snails, beetles and other surprising creek-dwellers. You'll learn how these creatures are used to monitor waterway health and contribute to a growing picture of our local rivers and streams.

Whether you're a curious first-timer, a keen nature lover or already know your waterbugs, there's something to get involved in. Come along, get stuck in and see what lives beneath the surface!
